Taking care of skin with home remedies is a very old and easy method. Especially curd is used in many types of face masks. Dermatologist Dr Aanchal Panth says that the lactic acid present in curd can help in exfoliating the skin and keeping it soft and hydrated. Some research has also shown improvement in skin moisture, shine and elasticity with the use of curd. However, it is important to use it correctly and keeping your skin type in mind. Let us know in what ways curd can be used on the face.

How to use curd on face?

  • Curd and Cucumber Mask: Grate cucumber and add curd to it and mix well. Apply the prepared pack on the face in an even thick layer. It can help cool and moisturize the skin.

  • Curd and turmeric mask: Prepare a thin paste by mixing half a teaspoon of turmeric in a bowl of curd. Apply it on face and neck. Wash with water after some time. The compounds present in turmeric can help in skin care.

  • Curd and papaya mask: Mash ripe papaya well, add curd to it and prepare a thick paste. Apply it evenly on the face and wash after some time.
