State Bank of India is offering excellent interest rates ranging from 3.05 percent to 7.15 percent on Fixed Deposit (FD) schemes of different tenures. FD account can be opened in State Bank of India for a minimum period of 7 days to a maximum of 10 years. The country’s largest government bank is offering interest ranging from 5.65 percent to 6.25 percent on 180 days FD scheme.

How much return will senior citizens get?

State Bank of India is offering 5.65 percent interest to all customers up to 59 years of age on FD accounts with a tenure of 180 days. Customers whose age is 60 years or more are being given 6.15 percent interest on 180 day FD scheme. Apart from these, customers whose age is 80 years or more are being given 6.25 percent interest on 180 day FD account. A maximum of Rs 2,99,99,999 can be deposited in this FD scheme of SBI.

What is the offer for senior citizens

State Bank of India is offering 0.50 percent more interest on FD accounts to senior citizens than general customers. Apart from this, very senior citizens i.e. those who are 80 years of age or above are being given 0.10 percent more interest than senior citizens. Let us tell you that the country’s largest government bank SBI is giving the highest interest of 6.45 percent to the general customers on the 444-day special FD scheme Amrit Vrishti.
