Celebrity Chef Pankaj Bhadauria Has told on his YouTube page how you can easily make oil at home. The method he has described may take a little more time, but the result will be pure peanut oil. So let’s know how to make it?

How to make peanut oil at home


  • First step: First of all, lightly fry the peanuts on low flame, until their skin becomes light golden and starts separating easily when pressed between the fingers.


  • Second step: Let the peanuts cool and then remove their skin by rubbing them between a cloth. Grind the peanuts in a mixer jar on ‘pulse mode’. Do not grind for more than 30 seconds at a time.

  • Third step: Now, the peanuts will first turn into powder and then upon further grinding it will turn into a smooth paste. Now take it out in a tray or flat pan. Knead it and make it like a smooth dough.

  • Fourth step: Now, start adding hot water little by little (one tablespoon at a time) and keep pressing it continuously. You have to continuously press it like dough. You will see that peanut oil will start coming out.

  • Fifth step: Now, filter the oil and fill it in a glass bottle. Let the oil sit for 2-3 hours, then filter it through a muslin cloth to remove all the dirt or sediment left in it. It can be stored in a cool and dry place for up to 3 months.

After all, nothing goes to waste when making peanut oil at home. With the peanut powder left at the end, you can make protein-rich peanut laddus, burger patties, or mix it into your flour to make delicious parathas.
