1. Use vinegar and baking soda
Vinegar and baking soda can prove effective in cleaning grease and carbon deposits on gas burners. For this, prepare a solution by mixing half a cup of white vinegar and two spoons of baking soda in a bowl. Now dip the burner in this solution for 15–20 minutes. After this, scrub the burner gently with an old toothbrush or wire scrubber. With this, the accumulated dirt will be easily cleaned and the flame will also come out properly.
2. Use of lemon and salt
If the burner has become too black, the citric acid present in lemon can help in brightening it. For this, squeeze the juice of one lemon in half a bowl of hot water and add a little salt to it. Soak the burner in it for some time. After this, apply some salt on the lemon peel and rub the burner. This will remove rust and blackness easily.
3. Open the closed hole with a safety pin or thin wire.
Many times the holes of the burner get blocked from inside, due to which the flow of gas reduces. In such a situation, first wash and dry the burner. Then take a thin safety pin, needle or fine wire. Insert a pin into each hole of the burner to see if any debris is stuck. By doing this the gas supply will be correct and the flame will immediately become blue and bright.
