Superstar Rajinikanth’s film ‘Jailor 2’ has been released in theaters and its climax has increased the discussion among the audience. The audience had expectations from this film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, like the 2023 blockbuster ‘Jailor’. There is a twist in the story of the film between action, deception and the struggle to save the family, which maintains the interest of the audience till the end. The biggest surprise is the entry of Vijay Sethupathi, who appears in the last part of the film. What happens in the climax of ‘Jailor 2’?
In the film, Rajinikanth is once again seen in the role of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. This time he faces the idol smuggling gang, which has ruined his life and family. In the story, Mithun Chakraborty playing the character of Chakri Kalpak makes a dangerous move to eliminate Muthu. Muthu’s daughter Kantha, played by Vidya Balan, is also affected by this conspiracy. On the other hand, Bodhi i.e. SJ Surya feels that his father and sister are dead. He then tries to escape in a private plane, but Muthu and his associates Narasimha, Mathew and Kamadeva stop him. These characters have been played by Shivrajkumar, Mohanlal and Jackie Shroff. With this the fight against smuggling gangs reaches a decisive turn.
Why did Muthu surrender after protecting his family?
When Muthu feels that his family is now safe from the threat of the smuggling mafia, he surrenders before the police. He confesses to the murder of his son Arjun and also tells the police about the place where the incident took place. After this, the police handcuffs him and takes him in front of the family, but the story does not end here. A police officer gives the phone to Muthu, on which he gets a message from daughter Kantha. Kantha is injured and is seen sitting on a wheelchair. This scene questions Muthu’s belief that he has completely secured his family. The message may appear normal, but the hidden signal behind it tells that the danger is not over yet.
Vijay Sethupathi’s entry gave a big surprise
The most shocking moment of the climax comes when the police officer asks Muthu to respond to the message. He also says jokingly that Kantha may get angry if he does not answer. As soon as the officer turns, it is revealed that his character is being played by Vijay Sethupathi. His entry adds a new mystery to the film. It has not been made clear what the future holds for Muthu and his family. Due to this incomplete turn, questions arise in the minds of the audience regarding the further story.
Will ‘Jailer 3’ come?
The ending of the film leaves room for a possible sequel. Kantha’s message and Vijay Sethupathi’s entry indicate that Muthu’s story is not quite over yet. However, ‘Jailor 3’ cannot be confirmed based on the climax alone. The makers have not yet made any official announcement regarding the third part. Along with Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirna and Ritwik have reprized their old roles in ‘Jailor 2’, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures.
