After the Cockroach Janata Party protest ended, Abhijeet Deepke has expressed his gratitude towards Sonam Wangchuk. He shared four photos of Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike. Along with this, he expressed his gratitude to Sonam Wangchuk and said that the thanks he wants to give for her contribution cannot be expressed in words.

Sharing the photo of Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike, Abhijeet Deepke wrote, “Sonam Wangchuk’s Gandhian Satyagraha woke up the entire nation. The 26-day fast was a sacred and supreme sacrifice for the youth of this country. It will go down in history as the moral force that united us all against impossible odds. Words cannot fully express our thanks for your contribution. We love you and will always be grateful for your Satyagraha.”

Sonam Wangchuk expressed happiness

Activist Sonam Wangchuk expressed happiness, saying, “I welcome and respect the steps taken by the government and Dharmendra Pradhan, and congratulate all the countrymen. This is the victory of democracy that we have seen today. I congratulate and thank our CJP team, who first raised this issue, as well as the volunteers who supported them, and also the students, youth and elders across the country who stood up for democracy. I respect all of them, and I hope that no wrong will happen in the future. There should be improvement in education only, and I have full hope that this step will be taken by the government as well. Rather, there will be improvement in governance. I hope that from now on the way of running the country will be run with love and affection and not with injustice.

The government accepted all the demands of the protesters

On Saturday, Dharmendra Pradhan resigned from the post of Union Education Minister. After this there was a meeting between CJP spokespersons and Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. During this time the government accepted all the demands of the protesters. These include not filing any FIR against the protesting students and giving a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the families of the students who committed suicide due to the NEET paper leak. After this CJP announced to end the protests.
