Tamil Nadu Election 2026: TVK chief Vijay has released the manifesto for Tamil Nadu assembly elections. He has taken special care of women in this. He has promised to provide financial help to women below 60 years of age. Besides, a promise has also been made to give a free cylinder and 8 grams of gold for the wedding. Special promises of TVK manifesto
- Women below 60 years of age will get Rs 2,500 per month.
- Every family will be given 6 free gas cylinders every year for cooking.
- To provide financial help to women from poor background, 8 grams of gold and quality silk saree will be given at their wedding.
TVK contested elections for the first time
Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vetti Kazhagam is contesting on all 234 seats in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections 2026. She has contested elections for the first time. Vijay has made it clear that his party will not be a part of any big alliance. He will contest the elections alone. Voting for 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu is to be held in a single phase on 23 April 2026, the result of which will be declared on 4 May 2026.
Women were taken care of even in ticket distribution
Party Chief Vijay himself is contesting from two assembly seats. He is contesting from Perambur and Trichy East. Women have also been taken care of in ticket distribution. Vijay’s party has made big announcements for women in the manifesto and has also given them 24 tickets.
Allowance of Rs 4 thousand for youth in manifesto
An allowance of Rs 4,000 per month will be given for youth who have completed graduation and Rs 2,000 per month for diploma holders. Also, there will be reservation of 75 percent local jobs for Tamils in all private industries. All government examinations will be conducted on time. Youth will get interest free startup programs. Internships and skill training will be arranged in all government sectors.
