12 MLAs went to Ayodhya

About 20 MLAs present in Delhi had talked about meeting party general secretary KC Venugopal and party’s Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala today, but due to the absence of these two leaders in Delhi today, 12 MLAs decided to go to Ayodhya.

These MLAs present in Delhi, demanding re-formation of the cabinet, hope that they will be able to meet Venugopal and Surjewala on Thursday. He has already met AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge. According to them, Kharge termed their demand as reasonable and assured to consider it.

In February this year, about 38 MLAs had written a letter to the high command demanding reshuffle in the cabinet and making him a minister. Now most of them have reached Delhi to get their demands met.

What is the whole matter?

The fire of rebellion is rising in Karnataka Congress. In fact, 40 MLAs are adamant on their demand for cabinet reshuffle and are camping in Delhi with this demand. These MLAs say that they want to meet the high command and reshuffle the cabinet and they believe that now new faces should be given a chance.

Among these, about 40 MLAs who have become MLAs more than three times have demanded that the present ministers have got almost three years’ time, hence now senior MLAs should be given a chance.

Now it remains to be seen whether the Congress high command fulfills the demands of the MLAs or the MLAs will have to return from Delhi disappointed.
