If you want to eat Sattu sweet then mix it lightly and eat it. Most people mix Sattu in water. It is not kept as thin as sherbet but slightly thinner than the batter of cheela. You can add sugar, sugar or jaggery to it for sweetness. Mix the sattu well and drink it. Some people also drink Sattu mixed in milk instead of water. It has a different taste.

Most of the people drink salty Sattu by diluting it like sherbet. Add 3-4 tablespoons of Sattu in 1 glass of water and mix it. If you want to eat thick Sattu, then you can dissolve it thickly and add finely chopped onion, green chilli, black salt, roasted cumin and lemon to it and eat Sattu.
