Akshay Kumar is going to reunite with Vidya Balan in his next film, which will be directed by Anees Bazmee. The yet-to-be-titled drama film has already piqued people’s interest, especially as the team flew to Kerala to begin shooting. Let us tell you that Akshay and Vidya have already worked together in films like ‘Hey Baby’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ and ‘Mission Mangal’, all of which were successful at the box office. Before this, Akshay had worked together in the film Mission Mangal, released 6 years ago. Akshay is reuniting with Anees Bazmee after 15 years, before whom he has given hits like ‘Singh Is King’, ‘Welcome’ and ‘Thank You’.

Sharing the good news with his fans, Akshay took to Twitter to reveal that he is leaving for God’s own country Kerala for the shoot. A short video posted by the actor shows him and Vidya arriving together, where Akshay is seen boarding her plane as he prepares to leave for the shoot. Akshay Kumar expressed his happiness about working with Vidya once again and expressed hope that their on-screen chemistry will be liked by the audience as before. He wrote, ‘Next stop- God’s own country, magical Kerala. Anees Bazmee’s next film is my fourth film with the evergreen Vidya Balan and I hope the magic of our pairing continues.

Akshay Kumar’s latest film, Bhoot Bangla, is currently running in theatres. Next, he will be seen in the film Welcome to the Jungle directed by Ahmed Khan.
