Akshay said – ‘Hera Pheri 3 is not being made as of now.’ On hearing this, when Shubhankar Mishra asked Akshay Kumar the reason for this, the superstar said – ‘I myself was shocked. No problem, welcome. You will have to recite some mantras so that everything becomes alright. This is not going to happen next year.

Hera Pheri 3 surrounded in controversy
For those who are not aware of it, let us tell you that the makers of the cult classic film ‘Hera Pheri’ had announced its third part, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ in January 2025. However, the film ran into controversy after Paresh Rawal walked out of the film and later there was a legal dispute between a South producer and Firoz Nadiadwala over the copyright ownership of the film. But, Paresh Rawal confirmed his return to the hit film in July 2025. The film stars the original trio Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty in the lead roles.
