Samsung has introduced another phone in the Galaxy A series in the Indian market earlier this month. This phone has been introduced in the name of Galaxy A27 5G. This Samsung phone is an upgrade of last year’s Galaxy A26. The company has made major upgrades from the design of the phone to the processor and camera. We have used this phone for some time. Let us know how we liked this phone…

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G: Design and display

The design and display of Samsung Galaxy A27 5G is similar to the recently launched Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. The look and feel of the phone will also be similar to these two mid-budget phones. The company has given a visible bump in the camera module given in the back of this phone, which gives a premium feel to the look. Curved design is seen on the side. Due to the matte finish in the back panel of the phone, it does not attract dust.

A combination of volume and power buttons will be seen on the right side of this phone. At the same time, USB Type C charging port and speaker grills are provided at the bottom. The company has tried to keep the phone thinner than the previous model. Due to its slim design, this phone also gives a premium look. Also, the weight of the phone is quite low, due to which you will be able to easily operate it with single handle.

The company has given a 6.7 inch FHD+ AMOLED display in Galaxy A27. The display of this phone supports 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass will be available for its protection. The display panel of the phone has a center aligned punch-hole design, which the company has named Infinity-O. Due to Gorilla Glass, the durability of the phone’s display is better.

The content viewed on the display of this mid-budget phone will have natural color. You will never feel that an attempt has been made to forcibly brighten the content with the help of AI. In this phone you can experience video content up to 4K resolution. The phone’s display works well even in gaming. High resolution game graphics look perfect. We have also done the First Impressions Review of Galaxy A27 5G. At first glance, we liked the look of this phone.

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G: Performance and battery

This Samsung phone works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. This phone has 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Two 5G Nano SIM cards can be installed in it. We have used its top variant for review. Due to Qualcomm’s 6th Gen chipset, the performance of the phone is quite good. In the mid-budget range, this processor gives you decent performance in basic use.

This phone comes with 5000mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. The company has not provided charging adapter with this phone. You can buy it separately. You can easily use the battery of this phone throughout the day by just charging it. The company has not provided an adapter with the phone. I charged it with Google Pixel’s 33W charger. It takes approximately 80 to 85 minutes for the phone to charge from 0 to full.

This phone comes with OneUI 8.5 based on the latest Android 16. Multi-layer security has been provided in the phone. This phone comes with the company’s Knox security. The operating system of the phone is very user friendly. Also, you get a better security layer in Samsung phones. However, the company has provided many pre-installed apps with the phone, which may irritate you. However, later you can delete it as per your convenience.

Samsung Galaxy A27 5G: Camera

This Samsung phone also comes with a triple camera setup like the other two phones of this series launched this year. It has a 50MP main camera. With this, a 5MP secondary and 2MP macro camera will be available. The company has given a 12MP front camera in this phone for selfie and video calling. Talking about its camera experience, the main camera of the phone works well in daylight.

You get to see natural colors in the picture taken from the camera. In this, the company has given a 5MP ultra wide camera, which can be further improved. Ultra wide images are pixelated. If we talk about pictures taken in low light, they appear blurry. However, the camera app in the phone processes the photo taken. In such a situation, if you want to take a picture in low light, then take it only with the flash light on. Pictures taken with flash will look better.

The company has upgraded the processor of this mid-budget phone as compared to the previous model. The battery backup of the phone is good. You can use it comfortably throughout the day on a single charge. The back panel of the phone gets hot during heavy work or multi-tasking.

The overall software experience seemed fine to us. This phone is also fine in terms of camera. The ultra-wide camera needs an upgrade. At the same time, low-light photography is also average. The starting price of the phone is Rs 29,999. However, in this price range you can get phones from other brands with better features.
