Now only two more matches are left in this season of IPL. Qualifier 2 will be played this evening i.e. Friday, after which the final match will be played on Sunday. RCB team has already confirmed its place in the finals, the team that wins today will go to the finals. Meanwhile, suddenly a new order has been issued by BCCI for the teams and match officials. In fact, now smart sunglasses cannot be worn during the match, this has been banned.
Complete ban on use of smart sunglasses
Match officials and players will no longer be able to use smart sunglasses during Indian Premier League matches. This has been done after the suggestion given by the Anti Corruption Unit of BCCI. An advisory has been issued to the teams in this regard. It says that some companies are providing smart sunglasses to players and support staff. Actually, these smart sunglasses are equipped with advanced communication features. In this, live streaming, sending and receiving text messages are easy. Not only this, they are equipped with mobile data and WiFi. Calling can also be done through these. Therefore these cannot be worn during the match.
Rajasthan Royals officials were caught using phones
Let us remind you that Romi Bhinder of Rajasthan Royals was caught using the phone while sitting in the dugout during a match. They were captured on camera. After this, a penalty of Rs 1 lakh was imposed on him and a warning was also given. Now it has been said that when the players go for the match, they will also collect smart sunglasses along with their phones. Strict action will be taken against whoever does not accept this.
BCCI has already issued strict rules
Even before this, there were reports that family members and acquaintances of some players were reaching the hotel. This had created a danger of honey trapping. After knowing about this, it was banned. It was also said that players will not be able to go anywhere late at night without permission. Although it is not known whether any other rule has been violated anywhere, but the BCCI is making strict security arrangements from its end.
