The England team is playing without its regular captain Nate Sciver Brunt in this three-match T20 series, in which he is out due to injury. Charlie Dean is taking over the responsibility of captaincy in his place. At the same time, the Indian women’s team has also played without Harmanpreet Kaur in the first T20 match, in which BCCI Women’s side posted on X and informed that Harmanpreet Kaur has been rested and Smriti Mandhana is taking the responsibility of captaincy in her place.
