Big news is coming out from Bagalkot district of Karnataka. Police has banned Telangana BJP leader Madhavi Latha from entering Bagalkot district. This order has been issued by Bagalkot district Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sangappa. According to the information, Madhavi Lata was invited to the Hindu Maha Ganpati immersion program in Bagalkot. However, even before his arrival here, the administration has banned him from taking entry in the district. Let us know why the police has issued this order.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information revealed, an order has been issued by the police to ban the movement of Madhavi Lata in the district from 23 September 2026 to 23 October 2026. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sangappa has issued the order. Madhavi Lata was to participate as a speaker in the Ganesh immersion program in Bagalkot. The police has also emailed Madhavi Lata to inform her about the restrictions on her movement. Let us tell you that last year also the capital of Telangana Madhavi Lata was detained by the police in Hyderabad. According to the information, Madhavi Lata was allegedly protesting against the demolition of the 100-year-old Gram Devta temple.
Why was the stop order issued?
According to the information, Madhavi Lata has a history of giving inflammatory speeches due to which the police felt that there could be a disturbance in peace and law and order in the district. Due to this, Superintendent of Police (SP) Siddharth Goyal had written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner and recommended banning his arrival. After this, the Deputy Commissioner has issued this order on the basis of the letter from Bagalkot SP Siddharth Goyal. The letter mentioned the inflammatory speeches given by Madhavi Lata at different places, including an incident when she imitated shooting an arrow towards a mosque. The SP had requested for a ban citing the FIR lodged against Madhavi Lata in different police stations. After the letter from SP, the Deputy Commissioner has issued the order.
