New Delhi: The meeting of opposition leader in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi with India Block and Congress MPs has ended. Many senior leaders including Sonia Gandhi were also present in the meeting. According to the latest information, opposition MPs are taking out a protest march under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. MPs and leaders of INDIA alliance are going to Gandhi Smriti peacefully on Tees January Marg.

Meanwhile, the police stopped the bus of opposition MPs before Amit Shah’s house. Police have put up barricades. However, after some time the barricades were removed from the road. Rahul Gandhi is now going for a protest march with the MPs.

Rahul Gandhi said- the entire opposition stands with the students

Meeting amid deadlock in Parliament

This meeting is taking place amid the deadlock in Parliament over the NEET-UG paper leak controversy, in which the opposition has demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a discussion under Rule 267 of the Rajya Sabha. The central government says that it is ready to discuss the NEET controversy and related matters, but has asked the opposition not to put any conditions. Under Rule 267, MPs can demand to stop the work in the Upper House of Parliament.

Earlier, during the monsoon session of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi had held a meeting with all the leaders of the India Alliance in the Parliament House complex.
