Counting of votes is going on in Assam. Meanwhile, Congress President and Congress candidate from Jorhat assembly constituency Gaurav Gogoi said, ‘We are waiting for a positive result in Assam. We will keep an eye on every round. We have sent various observers to the state so that if anyone sees any weakness anywhere on the part of the administration, they should inform us…we will be prepared for the whole day.

God is with us- Suvendu Adhikari

Speaking to the media, Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly and BJP candidate from Nandigram and Bhawanipur assembly constituency Suvendu Adhikari said, ‘Pooja has been done at Lakshmi Narayan temple. God is with us. A government that cares about Sanatan is coming to Bengal. There was such jungle raj in UP and Bihar too which ended after the BJP government came to power. Change is happening. BJP government is coming to Bengal.

Divisive politics of INDI alliance will lose – Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrashekhar

Regarding the ongoing vote counting in Kerala and victory there, BJP President Rajiv Chandrashekhar said, ‘We will wait for the election results. The results will be out by this afternoon and then we will comment on it. We are in a democracy. No political party can decide the future of any other political party. This is the arrogance of CPM and Congress where they think that they will decide what the people will do. That is just not true. This is a democracy. This is not China or Russia. I am confident that the divisive politics of the INDI alliance will be defeated. Amidst the ongoing counting of votes in Bengal, BJP President Samik Bhattacharya said, ‘The dream of BJP workers is coming true… Today our government will remain in place… No Bengali has seen such an election after independence. Elections have been held peacefully… Mahajanalraj will end.

DMK leader said this amid counting of votes

Amidst the ongoing counting of votes in Tamil Nadu, DMK leader TKS Elangovan said, ‘We will win. We will get absolute majority, and our alliance will win around 160 to 170 seats. When asked that according to exit polls, TVK can get 20% votes, he said, ‘Only one exit poll has said so and the rest of the exit polls claimed that it will get 100-120 seats, which is not going to happen. 20% is not a winning number, we will win more than 40%.

BJP candidate from Noapara seat, Arjun Singh, while talking to the media, said, ‘Till now the candidates or election agents have not reached the counting center and they are announcing that they are opening the strong room.
