Second such big meeting in just 2 months
Let us tell you that this will be the second major institutional meeting to be held between Prime Minister Modi and the top bureaucracy in less than 2 months. Earlier on May 21, the Prime Minister had held a joint meeting of the Union Council of Ministers and Union Secretaries. In that meeting, policy reforms and administrative changes were discussed to achieve the goal of Developed India 2047. During that time, PM Modi had told the officials that the decision making process should be fast and the files should be moved forward quickly while avoiding unnecessary delays.
PM Modi had given important instructions in the last meeting
In that meeting, PM Modi had emphasized on increasing maximum productivity in short time and simplifying the governance system. The Prime Minister had also told the officials that the government’s goal is not just a slogan, but ‘Developed India 2047’ is a strong resolution. He advised the ministries to pay more attention to structural reforms and work in the public interest. In the last review meeting, the ministries whose performance was found to be relatively weak were instructed to improve their functioning and give better results.
