Monsoon has reached Madhubani in Bihar. During next 2-3 days, it may advance into some more parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and some more parts of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand and some parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Last week, there was 26% less rainfall than normal in the entire country and the south-west monsoon rainfall has also reduced by 26%.

There is a possibility of more than normal rainfall in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, North Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab. At the same time, there is a possibility of below normal rainfall in Goa, Coastal Karnataka, some places in North East India and most places in the country. Apart from Rajasthan and Gujarat, there are chances of rain in most parts of the country next week. The temperature in northwest India is likely to fall by 5 to 7 ° by June 12. After this the temperature is likely to increase by 3 to 5°.
