In this report, it was said that this proposal of imposing tax or ban on foreign travel is much discussed and it can be implemented temporarily to handle the economic pressure related to rising crude oil prices, import costs and war. Along with this, it was also said in this report that this tax can be imposed for one year and the amount received from it will go directly into the account of the Central Government. However, there was no official response from the Finance Ministry regarding this report at that time. But PM Modi himself came forward in this matter and informed that the government does not have any such proposal, this report is a complete lie.
