People are facing difficulty in going out due to strong sunlight during the day. It is raining heavily in many areas of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain and hailstorm along with lightning in many parts of Uttarakhand. Talking about the national capital Delhi-NCR, there was some relief from the heat on Monday. Delhi-NCR remained generally cloudy on Monday, with maximum temperatures below season’s normal in most parts of the region.

Yellow alert issued for Delhi

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘yellow alert’ of rain and thundershowers in Delhi-NCR for Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature on Tuesday is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature will be 35 degrees Celsius. IMD has predicted rain and thundershowers in many areas of Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.

Know what was the temperature of Delhi

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature at Safdarjung station, considered the official temperature indicator of the capital, was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. Earlier, the minimum temperature was slightly above normal at 27.1 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Palam was below normal at 36.7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature in Ayanagar was also below normal at 37.2 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature at Ridge and Lodhi Road stations also remained below average. The temperature was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius at both the places. Delhiites felt the heat throughout the day and there was no rain.

Temperature will increase in Rajasthan

It is extremely hot in Rajasthan these days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of severe heat (heat wave) in many areas of the state this week. The Meteorological Department said that the temperature will increase further in the coming days.

Temperature in Barmer crossed 46 degrees

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, at present the maximum temperature in some parts of south-western Rajasthan is being recorded between 45-47 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Barmer on Sunday was 46.8 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of a slight increase in the minimum and maximum temperatures in most parts of the state in the coming days.

Heatwave alert issued for these districts

There is a possibility of ‘heatwave’ in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions in the next 4-5 days. At the same time, in the south-eastern parts also, the maximum temperature is likely to be recorded between 43 to 45 degrees in the coming days and there may be heatwave and hot nights at some places.

Forecast of rain with thunderstorm in Jaipur

Similarly, during the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of cloudy sky at isolated places in Bikaner division, Shekhawati region, northern parts of Jaipur and Bharatpur division, thunderstorm with a speed of 40-50 kilometers per hour and light drizzle.

Alert of hailstorm along with rain in Uttarakhand

Considerable change is being seen in the weather of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in view of the possibility of rain and adverse weather in various parts of Uttarakhand, especially the hilly areas, on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dehradun Meteorological Center has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ predicting lightning, hailstorm, heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorm with strong winds with a speed of 40-50 kilometers per hour at some places in the state on May 12 and 13.
