New Delhi:The meeting of the Union Council of Ministers has started under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to sources, the functioning of the government will be reviewed in this meeting. This high-level meeting is also attended by Union Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State with Independent Charge and Ministers of State. The meeting is taking place at a time when global concerns over energy security are rising and fuel prices are rising due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
What is the agenda of the meeting?
In the meeting, the working of various ministries, important decisions taken by them and their results will be discussed. Besides, priorities and improvement measures for the coming months will also be discussed. Various aspects of government schemes and programmes, how to implement them with maximum success and other topics are also expected to be reviewed. Earlier, all the ministries had submitted details of the reform measures taken in the last two years to the Cabinet Secretariat. All ministries have also been asked to submit a list of successful schemes implemented during the last 12 years.
