Jaipur: On the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, former DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai described it as a defining moment in India’s strategic journey. He said that Operation Sindoor was not just a military action but a significant change in India’s approach against terrorism. Lieutenant General Ghai said that during the operation, 11 airfields and 9 major terrorist camps of Pakistan were targeted and heavy damage was caused. Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai said that during ‘Operation Sindoor’, 9 standoff precision strikes were carried out, of which 7 were carried out by the Indian Army and 2 by the Indian Air Force. Lieutenant General Ghai clarified that the objective of Operation Sindoor was to destroy terrorist hideouts and prevent future actions. He said, ‘This operation was carried out in a completely controlled, precise and responsible manner. Operation Sindoor was a beginning, not an end. India will continue to protect its sovereignty, security and people at all costs.
More than 100 terrorists were killed in ‘Operation Sindoor’
