- Wheat flour – 1.5 cups
- Semolina (Rava) – 2 tbsp
- Powdered sugar – half cup
- Ghee or butter half cup
- Milk or water – 3-4 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
- White sesame seeds or chopped almonds – 1 tablespoon

- First of all, sift and mix wheat flour, semolina and cardamom powder in a big vessel. Now add ghee to it and mix it well by rubbing it with hands. When the dough starts binding like a laddu when you hold it in your fist, then understand that the dough is perfect. This will make the biscuits crispy.
- Now add powdered sugar to the flour. After this, add cold milk or water little by little with a spoon and knead a stiff dough. Keep in mind, the dough does not have to be soft like roti, just bring everything together.
- Now divide the dough into two parts. Roll one part a little thick. Now with the help of a cookie cutter, small bowl or lid, cut the biscuits into desired shapes. If you want, you can also make a light design on the biscuit with the help of a knife.
- Spread salt in a heavy bottom pan and place a stand in it. Cover the pan and pre-heat on medium flame for 10 minutes. After this, grease a plate with ghee and keep biscuits in it at some distance.
- Place the plate on the stand of the pan, cover it and let it bake for 15-20 minutes on low flame. When the biscuits become golden from below, turn them and cook the other side also for 5 minutes. After this, keep it sealed in an airtight jar and enjoy it.
