Tata Group’s IT company had recently announced the second interim dividend for the current financial year. TCS shares will trade ex-dividend on October 14
TCS had released the results of the second quarter of the current financial year on Thursday this week. Along with releasing the results, the company also shared information about dividend. TCS said in an exchange filing that the record date for this second interim dividend of Rs 12 has been fixed on Wednesday, October 14. That is, TCS shares will trade ex-dividend on October 14.
Dividend money will be transferred to the account on October 30
If an investor wants to take advantage of this Rs 12 dividend of TCS, then he will have to buy shares a day before the record date. In the case of TCS, the benefit of dividend will be available only on shares purchased till Tuesday, October 13. The company said in its exchange filing that the dividend money will be transferred to the bank accounts of those shareholders whose names are found in the records, on the record date, on Friday, October 30.
TCS’s profit and income both increased in the second quarter.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), while releasing the results of the second quarter of the current financial year on October 8, said that during this period, their net profit increased by 15 percent on annual basis to Rs 13,884 crore. At the same time, the company’s income also increased by 11.22 percent to Rs 73,188 crore.
The company’s shares closed with a bumper rise on Friday.
