There will be relief from scorching heat, IMD issued alert; Told in which states it is going to rain

IMD Weather Update: A large part of the country, troubled by the scorching heat and heat wave, is going to get relief soon. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of thunderstorm and heavy rain in many states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi-NCR and Rajasthan. In the next 2-3 days, the temperature is expected to drop by 2 to 8 degrees Celsius in North-West, Central and Eastern India, which will completely change the weather pattern.

Actually, a new Western Disturbance is becoming active in North-Western India from May 28, which will bring changes in the weather. Conditions remain completely favorable for the advance of Southwest Monsoon into the remaining parts of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

How will be the weather condition in these states?

1. There will be heat wave effect in Delhi-NCR for the next two days. The weather will change from May 28, the sky will be cloudy and there are chances of a storm blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 km/hour in the afternoon.
2. There will be heat in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Varanasi and Kanpur for the next two days. There is a rain alert in Eastern UP on May 27, while between May 28 and 31, a severe thunderstorm with a speed of 70 km/hour may occur. The temperature will drop from 29th May.
3. There is a possibility of dust storm at a speed of 70 km/hour in many districts of Bihar including Patna, Gaya and Muzaffarpur between 26 and 29 May. IMD has also warned of rain in many parts of the state on May 26 and 27.
4. The heat wave will continue in Rajasthan till May 30, while severe heat wave will continue in some places till May 28. From May 29, the weather will change here too and there is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in some areas.
5. Many districts of Jharkhand including Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad are going to get great relief from the heat. An alert of heavy rain with thunder and lightning has been issued from 26 to 31 May.
6. There will be rain in many areas of Uttarakhand including Dehradun and Nainital from May 28 to 31. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in the hilly areas on May 29.
7. In Himachal Pradesh, on May 28 and 29, there will be light rain with winds at a speed of 50 km/hr and hailstorm may occur.
8. At the same time, an alert of heavy to very heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorm has been issued in many parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
