Bollywood celebs saluted Hero Captain
Apart from Salman Khan, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh also praised Captain Smit Machar on Instagram and wrote with a picture, “Captain Courageous” (Courageous Captain) and along with it, apart from the salute and Indian flag emoji, he has also put the song of his film Dhurandhar Jaan Se Gujarte Hain in the background.
On Wednesday, an Omani co-pilot attacked Captain Smit Machar in the cockpit of a flight going from Dubai to Tel Aviv, due to which Captain Smit Machar was seriously injured. CCTV footage of this incident was also revealed, in which Smit was seen bleeding badly at the cockpit door. He was admitted to the hospital, now his condition is fine and we are wishing him a speedy recovery.
What did Smit say in his conversation with PM Modi?
During a video call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, Captain Smit Machar said that he knew the plane was going down and despite being injured, he managed to open the cockpit door. He said, “I knew the plane was going down… I fell to the ground. I told myself the door is right there, I just have to open it. I managed to do that and people came in.” He said that in difficult times I was reciting Hanuman Chalisa.
