In such a situation, special trains run by Indian Railways are the last hope of the passengers. Indian Railways has announced to run another special train between Mumbai and Banaras. North Central Railway has shared the information about this special train.
Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Banaras special train will run 2 days a week
According to the information given by North Central Railway, it will run 2 days a week between Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Banaras. A large number of passengers are expected to benefit from this special train. According to the Railways, this special train will stop in both directions at Thane, Kalyan Junction, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Jalgaon Junction, Bhusaval Junction, Khandwa Junction, Itarsi Junction, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Katni Junction, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur Junction, Prayagraj, Chhivki and Varanasi Junction railway stations during its journey. This train will have a total of 22 coaches including 11 sleeper class coaches, 5 general class coaches, 4 third class AC coaches and 2 SLRD coaches.
Train will run from Mumbai to Banaras every Wednesday and Thursday
Train number 01051, LTT-Banaras special train running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Banaras will start its journey from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12:15 pm every Wednesday and Thursday from 14 October to 19 November and will reach Banaras at 16:05 pm the next day. In return, Train No. 01052, Banaras-LTT Special train running from Banaras to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will depart from Banaras at 20:30 PM every Thursday and Friday from October 15 to November 20 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04:40 AM the next day.
