Bye All passenger cars of Motors are going to become expensive from July 1. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) on Friday announced a 1.5 per cent increase in the prices of its passenger cars. The company said that this increase will be in the prices of both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV). TMPV gave this information in an exchange filing on Friday.

Tata Motors explained the reason for increasing the prices of vehicles

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles said in the information given to the stock market exchanges that this increase in the prices of vehicles is being done to reduce the impact of rising input costs and persistent inflation to some extent. “Although Tata Motors is bearing a large portion of these increased costs, some of the impact is also being passed on to customers through this change,” the company said in an exchange filing.

Prices of Tata Motors vehicles had increased on April 1 itself.

The company said that the price increase will vary depending on the model and variant, to ensure that the overall value of each vehicle is maintained. According to a PTI report, Tata Motors last increased the prices of its vehicles on April 1 this year.

Maruti Suzuki cars will become costlier by Rs 30,000

Before Tata, Maruti Suzuki had also announced a price increase of its vehicles by up to Rs 30,000. Maruti Suzuki had announced to increase the prices of all its vehicles by Rs 30,000 last month in May itself. The new prices of Maruti Suzuki will be applicable on vehicles booked from June 15.

The company took the decision under the pressure of inflation

Maruti Suzuki India had announced last month that it will increase the prices of all its vehicles by Rs 30,000 from June 2026 due to inflationary pressure and rising costs. However, the exact amount of the price increase will vary from model to model.

BMW cars will become costlier by 2 percent from July 1

German luxury car manufacturing company BMW Group India is going to increase the prices of all its vehicles from July 1. This includes all the vehicles of BMW as well as Mini. BMW Group India said that a 2 percent increase in the prices of all its vehicles will be implemented from July 1.
