Ganga Expressway toll rates: The era of free travel on Ganga Expressway, one of the largest and most ambitious expressway projects in Uttar Pradesh, is now over. Drivers traveling on the expressway will now have to pay toll tax. This expressway not only reduces the distance between western and eastern Uttar Pradesh, but now it is also going to become a big source of revenue for the government. Toll collection on Ganga Expressway is divided into four main parts. Meerut to Badaun 129.7 km, Badaun to Hardoi 151.7 km, Hardoi to Unnao 155.7 km and Unnao to Prayagraj 156.8 km. To cover the total distance of 594 kilometers, fees will have to be paid according to different stretches.

FASTag mandatory and security arrangements

Toll collection on the expressway will be done entirely through Fastag. Vehicles without Fastag or vehicles with blacklisted Fastag can be charged double the fine. With the implementation of toll, patrolling and ambulance services on the expressway have also been made more active.

After the construction of Ganga Expressway, the journey from Meerut to Prayagraj will become much easier and faster. Whereas earlier the travel time by road was expected to be hours, the travel time through the expressway is expected to be significantly reduced.
