Gold and silver prices declined in initial trends on Monday. The prices of both precious metals fell in the futures market. At 10:15 am in the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the price of gold fell by 0.63 percent to Rs 1,51,686 per 10 grams for the delivery contract of June 5, 2026, compared to the previous session. At the same time, silver futures price for delivery contract on May 5, 2026 also fell by 2.10 per cent to ₹2,38,163 per kg.

Delhi
24 carat gold is available at ₹15,261 per gram, 22 carat ₹13,990 per gram and 18 carat ₹11,449 per gram.
Mumbai
24 carat gold is trading at ₹15,246 per gram, 22 carat ₹13,975 per gram and 18 carat ₹11,434 per gram.
Kolkata
Here also the gold prices remained the same as in Mumbai. 24 carat was recorded at ₹15,246, 22 carat at ₹13,975 and 18 carat at ₹11,434 per gram.
Chennai
Gold remained slightly expensive in Chennai. 24 carat gold reached ₹15,338 per gram, 22 carat ₹14,060 per gram and 18 carat ₹11,730 per gram.
Bengaluru
Here also similar rates were seen like Mumbai and Kolkata. Gold is being sold at 24 carat ₹ 15,246, 22 carat ₹ 13,975 and 18 carat ₹ 11,434 per gram.
Gold rate in international market
According to tradingeconomics, gold prices fell by about 2% in the international market on Monday and fell below $ 4,700 an ounce. The decline followed last week’s surge as US plans to impose sanctions on the Strait of Hormuz and failed talks with Iran heightened concerns about a global energy crisis.
