By getting remote access to the phone, cyber criminals also get access to the calls and messages coming on it. They can read the OTP received on the message and empty your bank account.

How to avoid fraud?
The most important and important question is that how can this type of cyber fraud be avoided? This type of fraud is possible only when your phone is accessed remotely. For this, cyber criminals first send you fake links through message or e-mail etc. If you accidentally click on these links, malware may be installed on the phone, which can give access to your phone to cyber criminals.
- To avoid this you need to be cautious. Do not open any unknown message, e-mail or link given on social media platform.
- Download any apps in the phone only from the official app store. Installing apps through third party apps or APK is not safe.
- Go to the phone’s settings and check the permissions of the apps. Check which app has been given access to what things and if it is not necessary, stop the permission.
Even the smallest precautions you take can save you from falling into the trap of cyber criminals.
