Rohit Sharma: The only test match between India and Afghanistan ended in two and a half days. Now ODI series will be played between the two teams, which will start from June 13. Big news has come before the 3 match ODI series. Actually, former Indian captain Rohit Sharma was included in the Indian team for the ODI series against Afghanistan, but his playing depended on fitness. Now big news has come out regarding Rohit’s fitness.

Rohit Sharma has passed the fitness test at BCCI’s Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. In this way the way has been cleared for them to play against Afghanistan. However, it is expected to take a day to get official clearance. The source told PTI that former captain Rohit was in the CoE to get his mild hamstring problem examined and after the examination, he has been cleared to play. Rohit is expected to join the team soon after passing the fitness test. Along with Rohit, Hardik Pandya has also got a clean chit for the ODI series.

It is noteworthy that Rohit Sharma was injured during IPL 2026. This is the reason why he could not play 5 matches for Mumbai Indians. However, he made a comeback but could play big innings in only one match. Rohit could not even open his account in the last match of the season. Now after about three weeks, Rohit will be seen returning to the field. The first match of the ODI series between India and Afghanistan will be played at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
