New Delhi: When Dharmendra Pradhan, who resigned from the post of Education Minister, reached Parliament on Monday, NDA MPs gave him a warm welcome at Makardwar. During this, NDA MPs raised slogans of Dharmendra Pradhan Zindabad and made him wear Paag. Its video has also surfaced.

Paag is a kind of turban, which is worn to show respect, welcome and affection. It is a traditional symbol of respect and warmth prevalent in areas like Rajasthan, Mithila, Gujarat etc.
Experts say that the NDA MPs welcoming Dharmendra Pradhan in the Parliament in this way is a message that Dharmendra has resigned on the basis of morality and not under any pressure. While on the one hand the opposition created a ruckus in both the houses of the Parliament, on the other hand the issue of welcoming Dharmendra Pradhan was also discussed.

After the fierce protest by CJP, Dharmendra Pradhan had resigned from the post of Education Minister and had given information about his resignation by posting on his X handle. Dharmendra Pradhan had posted on X and said, “I have always been an unwavering believer in the power of our democracy and have deep respect for the aspirations, dreams and expectations of the youth. They are not only the future of India, but are also the bearers, builders and architects of the future of a new and developed India. I am saddened to see the events of the last 10 days. This is not a matter of personal prestige for me. The youth power of India is the real strength of this country. The youth power of the country. I will not let you get trapped in the vicious circle of illusion, this is my resolve.”
Dharmendra Pradhan had said, “Anti-national forces should not take advantage of the situation that has arisen at Jantar Mantar and in the country, the unity of the country should be maintained, the future of not even a single student of India should be entangled in legal complications, our children should devote their time to studies and focus on making a career. Keeping this in mind, I have sent my resignation letter to the Honorable Prime Minister. I express my heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for his guidance, trust and constant support.”
