Hyderabad: The Attapur police have registered a case against a trainee IPS officer on the complaint of a woman trainee officer at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) in Shivarampally, Hyderabad. The female officer has alleged sexual harassment, assault and threats.
The shocking thing is that the accused trainee IPS officer has tried to commit suicide by consuming poison.

According to the complaint, the alleged harassment began in late June and continued for several weeks. The woman alleges that the accused sent her sexually objectionable messages and said derogatory things about her in front of fellow trainees. The woman also accused the accused of physical and sexual abuse. She also alleged that he recorded a private video without her consent and sent it to her husband in an attempt to blackmail her.
She also claimed that the accused spread false and defamatory stories about her to defame her. Based on the complaint, Attapur police registered a case and started investigation.

Making serious allegations, the victim said in her complaint that on the night of July 9, the accused stopped her wrongly, forcefully took her to his room, held her hair, tried to strangulate her and put a knife on her neck while preventing her from leaving.
She also alleged that during the incident the accused threw three packets of condoms at her. The FIR also states that the accused touched her inappropriately and tried to touch her private parts. On July 10, he allegedly assaulted her again.
