Manikarn: A shocking case has come to light from Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. When a family of tourists from Punjab who had come to visit Manikaran were getting photographed on the banks of river Parvati, all three members of the family were swept away in the strong current of water. It is a matter of relief that all three are safe and they were rescued in time.

Earlier on May 2, a tragic accident took place in Kullu, in which a heavy tree fell on a car, resulting in the tragic death of 4 female teachers. Actually, amidst heavy rain and storm in Ani of Kullu, a car was going near Baliol on Shamshar-Chawai road. Suddenly a pine tree fell on this car, due to which the vehicle was badly affected.

At the time of the accident, there were a total of 7 people including the driver in the vehicle, out of which 4 female teachers died on the spot. The teachers who died were returning after leave. Three people were injured in this incident, who were admitted to the hospital. The main reason for this incident was weather.

It is noteworthy that many times accidents happen in Kullu due to bad weather, in which people even lose their lives. In the month of March this year itself, the effect of snowfall in Himachal was also seen in Kullu and landslides occurred in many areas. Due to this, the Mandi-Kullu road was closed and there was a long traffic jam.

During this time, the Kullu district administration had stopped vehicular traffic on the Manali-Rohtang road and vehicles were allowed only up to Nehru Kund.

In such a situation, tourists should keep in mind that Kullu is a beautiful tourist destination but the weather can spoil your taste at any time. In such a situation, safety related guidelines should always be followed and if the weather is bad while traveling, one should remain in alert mode. A little carelessness can cause risk to life.
