This spread anger across the country. Important meetings were held by the government and action plans were made against the terrorists. Then on 7 May 2025, India started Operation Sindoor. This action was taken against terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoJK). During this, hideouts of organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen were targeted. Pakistan was shocked by the destruction of terrorist hideouts.
