Bengal BJP legislature Party Meeting Live Updates: The process of formation of the new government in West Bengal is starting today (Friday). BJP legislature party meeting will be held today at 2 pm in Kolkata. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be present in this meeting as an observer. Odisha CM Mohan Majhi has been appointed co-observer. Both the leaders will probe the hearts of BJP MLAs of West Bengal. The leader of the legislature party will be elected in this meeting. After the election of the legislature party leader, BJP leaders will go to Raj Bhavan and stake claim to form the government.
After this, the swearing in ceremony will take place tomorrow i.e. on 9th May. BJP has made preparations to make the swearing-in ceremony grand. Many Union ministers along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also be present in this ceremony. Besides, CMs of 20 states are also going to attend this swearing-in ceremony.

At the same time, the suspense over government formation in Tamil Nadu may end today. Leaders of Joseph Vijay Chandrashekhar’s party TVK have met CPI and CPM. After this, CPI and CPM can meet today and announce their support to Vijay. Vijay has the support of 112 MLAs including his party and Congress. They need 6 MLAs. Left has four MLAs.
VCK can also support Vijay. However, VCK leader SS Balaji has said that his party has not yet taken any decision on supporting TVK. His party will consider support only if TVK assures that it will not come under pressure from BJP or RSS. SS Balaji also said that the Governor should call TVK Chief Vijay to form the government.
