The Congress high command may be worried due to the statement of a BJP leader. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Dharmapuri Arvind made a shocking claim on Monday. Telangana’s Nizamabad MP has hinted that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy may behave like ‘Suvendu Adhikari’ with the Congress. Dharmapuri Arvind claimed that Reddy may switch political allegiance, just like Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari did six years ago, when he decided to leave Trinamool Congress and join BJP.

Congress made a mistake regarding Revanth Reddy

BGP MP Arvind said the Congress leadership had made a mistake by choosing Revanth Reddy as chief minister as it ignored senior party leaders who had spent decades in the Congress. Along with this, BJP MP has made a comparison between Revanth Reddy and Suvendu Adhikari. According to the BJP MP, Suvendu Adhikari had joined the BJP and become one of Mamata Banerjee’s staunchest opponents in West Bengal politics.

Congress will lose badly in the next elections

Dharmapuri Arvind said, ‘Congress will face an unprecedented defeat in Telangana in 2028-29. He was defeated badly in 1985 and 1994. The Congress party will have to face defeat under the leadership of Revanth Reddy in 2028-29.

‘You join me’, PM Modi had said about Revanth

These comments of the BJP MP are being considered politically important. Recently, PM Modi had also signaled Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad to come with BJP. PM Modi had told the Chief Minister of Telangana, ‘You will not be able to reach where you want to reach. It is better that you join me.

Revanth just smiled at PM Modi’s words

This comment of PM Modi had given rise to speculation in political circles. Reddy was present on the stage at that time and he just smiled at PM Modi’s words.

Strong politics will be seen in the next two years

Referring to PM Modi’s Hyderabad comment, Dharmapuri Arvind said, ‘I don’t know exactly what it means, because I am just a grassroots worker in BJP. I am not sure whether there is any political connection in this or not. Along with this he said, ‘I really don’t know if something is cooking, something like what Suvendu Adhikari did.’ However, he also said that Telangana will see ‘vigorous politics’ in the next two years, which will lead to BJP coming to power in the state.
