What is the equation for forming government?

TVK, which fell just short of the simple majority mark, is brainstorming three scenarios to form the government.

First Scenario: Formation of government with small parties of DMK alliance

  • TVK-108
  • Congress- 5
  • Left-4
  • IUML-2
  • VCK-2

Second scenario: Formation of government by taking together smaller parties from both DMK and AIDMK alliances.

  • TVK 108
  • congress 5
  • PMK 4
  • IUML 2
  • VCK 2

According to sources, TVK is mulling over an alliance with Congress and other small parties. TVK is also considering giving place to all the constituent parties in the cabinet so that despite having a simple majority, a stable government can be formed.

Third Scenario: Formation of a strong government with only the support of AIADMK by removing the rest of the alliance parties.
