Along with senior MLAs, 38 Congress MLAs elected for the first time have also become active. The new MLAs have written a letter to the party leadership demanding to make at least 5 new MLAs ministers.

According to sources, after the election results of West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on May 4 and before the monsoon session, the Congress party may dismiss a large number of ministers from the cabinet. According to sources, this figure could be much larger. Actually, currently there are 34 ministers in Karnataka, many of them have anti-incumbency issues and also many MLAs have been ministers for a long time. In such a situation, efforts will be made to reduce anti-incumbency against the government by giving place to new faces in the government.
For this reason Congress MLAs have become active. He says that he is not demanding to change the CM or not, rather he is demanding that the cabinet should be expanded and he should get a chance.
