  • Yellow or black mustard: 4 tbsp
  • Garlic: 8-10 cloves
  • Green chilli: 3-4
  • Ginger: 1 inch
  • Lemon juice: 2 tbsp
  • Mustard Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt: as per taste

First of all, clean the mustard seeds thoroughly. Now soak them in lukewarm water for about 1 to 2 hours. This will soften the mustard and its sharpness will also reduce.

After this, take out the soaked mustard water and put it in the mixer jar. Now add garlic, green chilli, ginger, turmeric, white salt and black salt to it. Add some water and grind it finely.
