Kangni Upma Recipe
First step- For this you have to take 1 cup of Kangni. Wash it and drain the water. Now add 1 spoon of ghee in the pan and fry the Kangni in it. For upma, finely chop all the vegetables like beans, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, capsicum.
Second step- Add 1 teaspoon oil in the pan. Add mustard seeds, dry red chilli, urad dal, green chilli, ginger and lots of curry leaves. Add finely chopped vegetables and sauté them lightly. Now take out the vegetables.
Third step- In the same pan, add 3 times more water than the kangni and then add the roasted kangni in it. Now add salt and black pepper to it. Cover and cook it for 15-20 minutes.
Fourth step- Now check once and if the Kangni is cooked well then add all the fried vegetables to it. Cook by turning a little and then add finely chopped coriander and lemon to taste and serve.
