The wait for Apple’s first foldable iPhone is about to end. This foldable iPhone of Apple has now reached the production stage. The American tech company may introduce its first foldable iPhone in September this year. According to the report, it can be launched under the name of iPhone Ultra. This foldable device of Apple can be offered with Samsung’s OLED panel. Apart from this, a new hinge mechanism can also be seen in it.
iPhone Ultra reaches production stage
Supply chain source Elec has shared information regarding Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone. Besides, information about the features of the phone has also been given. The Cupertino based company started trial production of iPhone Ultra in April. Now it has reached the final production stage. The tipster has also shared information about the display, chassis and mechanical structure of the phone.
iPhone manufacturer Foxconn can start its mass production in late July. There was a problem with the hinge module of the iPhone Ultra during trial production. However, now this problem has been resolved, after which preparations for final production are going on. According to the report, Apple has authorized South Korean company Samsung for the display of the upcoming foldable iPhone.
Will it be presented with OLED panel?
OLED panel will be used in this. Apple has ordered three million i.e. 30 lakh displays for this. A three-year agreement has been signed between Apple and Samsung for foldable iPhone. This means that the foldable iPhones launched in the next three years will have Samsung’s OLED display only.
Some features of iPhone Ultra were also revealed recently, according to which, Apple’s A19 Pro Bionic chipset can be found in the phone. Also, wide display can be used in the phone. At the same time, OLED panel will also be used in the cover display. This iPhone can be offered with 12GB RAM and up to 2TB storage.
In September, Apple is going to launch its first foldable iPhone as well as the iPhone 18 Pro series. Talking about the features of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, both these iPhones can be offered to the users with large camera modules. Both these phones will be launched with three 48MP cameras.
