For your information, let us tell you that to make moong dal halwa, one cup moong dal soaked for 5-6 hours, 3 cups milk, one cup sugar, one cup ghee, 2 tablespoons mawa, one teaspoon cardamom powder, chopped cashews, 6 saffron threads soaked in one tablespoon milk will be required. Let us learn to make Moong Dal Halwa step by step.

First step- First of all, you have to put moong dal in the mixer and grind it coarsely.

Second step- Heat some ghee in a pan and fry the cashew nuts lightly. After this, add some ghee to the pan and heat it.

Third step- Fry the ground moong dal in hot ghee on low flame for 10 minutes and do not forget to keep stirring the dal.

Fourth step- The dal will absorb the ghee well in about 10 minutes. You have to fry the moong dal until its color becomes light brown and until the dal starts releasing ghee.

Fifth step- After this, add milk little by little and keep mixing. Mix the milk well and cook the halwa on medium flame.

Sixth step- Now you have to mix sugar in the halwa and fry it on medium low flame for about 2 minutes.

Seventh step- After this, mix saffron milk, cardamom powder, chopped cashews in the halwa and cook while mixing for about 5 minutes.
