The ‘Bigg Boss’ star broke the news of his mother’s demise through an emotional post on Instagram. The Bollywood actress took to Instagram to share details of her mother Kalyani Sadanand’s funeral in Goa and post-cremation rituals in Mumbai. After the demise of mother Kalyani, Kunika Sadanand shared an emotional post, the caption of which is attracting everyone’s attention.

The ‘Bigg Boss 19’ star announced the news of her mother’s passing through an emotional post on Instagram. He wrote, ‘My mother, I love you very much. Thank you for everything you have given me – love, guidance, confidence to dream and face the world, good personality and courage to face the difficulties of life. My dear Empress Mrs. Kalyani Sadanand, you will always live in the hearts of those you met. Friends and family will remember you as a fun, cheerful and outgoing person who always had something nice and funny to say.

Praying for the peace of her mother’s soul, Kunika further said, ‘I am sure you will be happy to meet your siblings and loved ones. My Mama, may your soul rest in peace. You performed all your responsibilities as a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and all other relationships in life with great love and care. Along with her post, Kunika also shared a picture of her mother and wrote a message, ‘May your soul rest in peace, Mama. This world will not be the same without you.
When and where will the last rites of Kalyani Sadanand be held?
Kunika Sadanand gave an update in another post, ‘Kalyani Sadanand, wife of late Air Vice Marshal M. Sadanand, died on 6 October 2026 at the age of 83. His last rites will be performed at ‘Moksha’, Santanis, Panaji, Goa. The funeral procession will begin when she leaves her home Villa 3, Lavande Panthea, Curacao, Goa at 1:00 pm. The Sadanand family will mourn his demise.
