In the latest episode of the OTT show ‘Rise and Fall 2’, the atmosphere in the tower got heated when Tej Pratap Yadav and Manish Kashyap came face to face during the fireworks task. This task, which started for the prize pot, gradually turned into a debate on rights, hard work and the treatment of workers. On the one hand, workers in the basement were under constant pressure to prepare and pass the fireworks, while in the penthouse too, changing relationships and new rivalries kept the atmosphere tense.

Fireworks task increased the pressure

Under the task, workers had to prepare fireworks to increase the amount in the prize pot. But a strict condition was also imposed in it. If two fireworks were rejected in the quality check, the workers had to choose a weaker member from their own group and eliminate him from the game. In the first round, Shehzad Poonawala rejected a firework and was asked whether his decision was wrong. On this Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary asked him to move ahead. On Priyanka’s comment, Shehzad also replied that he has come to the show not to take footage, but to do his work. This altercation that took place in the beginning later became part of a bigger controversy.

When Manish’s firework was rejected, Tej Pratap clashed.

In the next round, Shehzad also rejected the firework made by Manish Kashyap. Manish got angry with this and started expressing his objections regarding the task. Meanwhile, Tej Pratap Yadav also joined the conversation. The argument that started between the two soon became heated. Tej Pratap accuses Manish of trying to turn the situation in his favor. On the other hand, Manish said that the workers are working hard and they are not being treated properly by the rulers. As the conversation progressed, the debate was not limited to tasks only. In this, issues like identity, rights, hard work and the difference between rulers and workers in the game also came to the fore. Manish asked Tej Pratap to understand the hard work of the workers, while Tej Pratap accused him of bringing politics into the game. Both stuck to their word and this confrontation gave indications of a new rivalry in the show.

After continuous rejection, workers had to take a big decision

Another twist came during the task, when the quality control officials could not agree on the fireworks. After this the Ultimate Ruler was given the right to take the final decision. After three fireworks were rejected in the next round, the workers were forced to expel one of their own members. Anish Bhagat himself offered to step out, but even after this the problems of the workers did not end. In the next round, all three fireworks were rejected after Kajal Raghwani made a mistake regarding the colors. After this it was decided to drop Niharika Tiwari out of the game. Niharika looked emotional and angry with this decision.

There was also an argument between Niharika and Gautam Gulati

After Niharika’s ouster, his anger turned into an argument with Gautam Gulati. Seeing the situation worsening, Kaira Anu tried to intervene, but later distanced herself from the situation. This entire incident clearly showed that the pressure of the task was now affecting the mutual relationships of the workers. Not only was the challenge of making fireworks in the basement, but there was also the risk of a member being eliminated with every rejection. This was the reason why even small disagreements turned into big disputes.

Only 20 out of 36 fireworks passed

The workers definitely got some relief in the last part of the task. Three fireworks passed in the fourth round, while all the fireworks prepared in the fifth round were approved. However, by then a lot of damage had been done. Workers prepared a total of 36 fireworks, but only 20 of these could pass the quality check. After this result, Rs 10 lakh more was added to the prize pot of Rulers. The Rulers took the first prize pot task, while the Workers had the chance to achieve the first ‘coup’, which they missed. Now the rulers have Rs 38 lakh, while only Rs 3.25 lakh is left in the workers’ account. In such a situation, the task facing the contestants of the basement will be a big challenge to reduce this gap.

Task is over, but no controversy

Even after the task was over, the tension in the tower did not subside. Seeing the hard work of the workers, the rulers offered to distribute food to them, but the contestants in the basement did not accept it. He felt that his hard work was not appreciated enough and decided to keep the food for himself. After this Kajal Raghwani raised questions on the contribution of Gautam Gulati. Gautam pointed towards Shahzad in reply. While Manish Kashyap supported Kaira Anu and appealed to Sara Gurpal and Kajal to recognize their efforts. Niharika and Anish also accused Gautam of underestimating the potential of women.

Equations are changing in penthouse also

On the other hand, the equations of relationships were seen changing in the penthouse also. Swara Bhaskar praised Shehzad Poonawala for sticking to his stand. The impact of the clash between Tej Pratap and Manish was also seen on the power dynamics of the tower. Shehzad also shared his opinion about Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and described her as temperamental and narcissistic by nature. Thus, in this episode of ‘Rise and Fall 2’, a task not only changed the equation of the prize pot but also deepened the tension between the workers and rulers and the personal rivalries going on inside the house.
