Rupali Ganguly told that her father wanted to become a filmmaker, due to which she had to take many difficult decisions in her life. In that era, filmmakers were not part of the corporate system, filmmakers had to invest their own money to make their films and even had to sell their houses for this. Rupali Ganguly told that her family had to go through a very difficult period due to this. Gradually his family lost everything. His father had a dream of building a house in Mumbai, which always remained in his heart.

Rupali Ganguly said- ‘My father was a filmmaker. This was the time when people were not part of the corporate film business. He used to make his own films and even sold his house for it. A similar time had come upon my family also. My family gradually lost everything. My father had only one dream, to have his own house in Mumbai. I was a typical Nepo kid, the daughter of a big filmmaker. My father had only one dream, his own house in Mumbai and I wanted to fulfill that dream. Then I found ‘Anupama’ and bought my first house.

‘Anupama’ changed fate

Rupali Ganguly told that ‘Anupama’ proved to be a big turning point in her career. Producer Rajan Shahi, who was present at the event, also remembered the days of struggle of Rupali Ganguly and during this time told that he had initially rejected Rupali, but then he asked Rajan Shahi for another chance. Rajan Shahi told that at one time Rupali Ganguly did not even have money for a bus, due to which she used to walk from Worli. Rupali cried after hearing this. Recently, Rupali was also in the news regarding a post. While sharing a post, the actress had expressed her concern regarding the power cut. She told that she could not sleep the whole night due to the lights being off.
