Well-known Bollywood and South cinema actor Rajesh Kumar has been admitted to the hospital. During the shooting of Prabhas’s upcoming film, Rajesh Kumar was bitten by an insect, after which a few hours his condition started deteriorating, due to which he had to be admitted to the hospital. Actress Sudeepa Chatterjee has shared a long post giving the health update of Rajesh Sharma, in which she gave information about the entire incident. The actress told in the post that during the shooting of Prabhas starrer ‘Spirit’, Rajesh Sharma was bitten by a poisonous insect, after which his condition started deteriorating. After his health deteriorated, Rajesh Sharma has been admitted to a hospital in Dhakuria, West Bengal, where he is under the observation of doctors.
Rajesh Sharma bitten by poisonous insect
Sudeepa Chatterjee wrote in her post – ‘During the shooting of Prabhas’s film, actor Rajesh Sharma was bitten by some insect or poisonous spider in Ramoji Film City. All this happened when Rajesh was talking to local technicians in a densely covered area after the shooting was over. During this time he realized that he had been bitten by an insect. Then he did not find the matter serious, due to which he did not seek medical help and continued his work. But, after about 6 hours, he started feeling severe pain in his right leg and started feeling some restlessness.

‘Even after his condition worsened, he took a flight to Kolkata, but during the journey he started having high fever and the restlessness started increasing continuously. His condition soon deteriorated. After this he was admitted to Dhakuria hospital. It’s been more than a day and his fever is not subsiding. He is also having trouble breathing and the infection in his leg is increasing rapidly. The infection has spread from his leg to his knee and big blisters are forming on the affected area.
Rajesh Sharma is under the supervision of doctors
In her post, the actress further said – ‘According to the doctor, it is too early to reach any definite conclusion. Rajesh Sharma is still under the strict supervision of doctors. At present he is not out of danger. Doctors are closely monitoring his health as they are concerned that complications could include the formation of a blood clot and if the clot reaches the lungs, it could prove fatal. The next health update will be released tomorrow after medical assessment by the hospital. Now thank you very much for everyone’s prayers, support and love.
