This new train will connect Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Chheharta (Amritsar) in Punjab. The commencement of this train will provide a lot of relief to religious pilgrims, tourists, businessmen and people traveling long distances. The special thing is that this train will give the option of comfortable overnight travel, which will save time of the passengers and the journey will also be convenient.

14624 Chheharta-Varanasi Sant Ravidas Express: This train will depart from Chhaharta at 2:05 pm every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It will reach Amritsar at 14:25 pm and will depart from there at 14:30 pm. The next day it will reach Lucknow at 07:25 am and leave from there at 07:35 am, after which it will reach Varanasi at 12:15 pm.
14623 Varanasi-Chheharta Sant Ravidas Express: This train will leave from Varanasi every Thursday, Saturday and Monday at 7:50 pm. It will reach Lucknow at 00:10 pm and depart at 00:20 pm. The next day it will reach Amritsar at 16:35 pm, leave at 16:40 pm and reach Chhaharta at 17:10 pm.
Major train stops
For the convenience of passengers, the train will stop at many major stations. These include Amritsar, Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Jaunpur City and Varanasi. This will directly benefit lakhs of passengers from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Sant Ravidas Express has been equipped with modern facilities. Passengers will get facilities like fully air conditioned sleeper coaches, comfortable berths, bio-vacuum toilets, digital passenger information system, CCTV surveillance, automatic doors and better security.
